Teaching the English language, focusing on conversation as well as reading and writing
Administering tests throughout the semester / academic year and providing feedback on the students' scores
Joining school activities and doing chores such as gate duty, sports day, student / teacher training, open house, student competitions, English camp

Student ages range from 13 to 18 years and classes comprise approximately 25 to 40 students
Working hours are from Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 4.30 pm
Weekly teaching volume is 20 to 24 periods

School will be providing books and a course outline for you if needed, but if you prefer to come up with a (suitable) lesson plan yourself, you’re free to do so
The school already employs eight foreign teachers (from South Africa, Serbia, France and Spain) placed by the agency (ETC) we partner with plus another ten foreign teachers

You’ll be officially employed by our partner, ETC Educations, not the school
ETC will support you with any job-related issues, paperwork and questions as well as anything regarding life in Thailand

School holidays

Full cover and pay during the school holidays in April and October if you continue to teach the following semester

A warranty deposit of 3,000 THB per month will be deducted from the salary for the first 3 months of employment
Upon completion of the contract, the warranty deposit will be refunded in full

Up to three days off per semester in addition to the many Thai national holidays

All visa, work permit and tax ID issues taken care of including the fees payable
Full support with all the necessary paperwork – even before you enter Thailand

Possibility to relocate within our partner’s network of schools (Krabi, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pran Buri, Satun, Songkhla, Samut Songkhram, Ratchaburi and Chon Buri) provided availability

Native English speaker from AU, CA, IE, NZ, UK, US or ZA with excellent command of the English language
Up-to-date résumé with photo
Self-introduction video (30 to 60 seconds)
Transcript of your degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
English translation of your transcript if necessary
Copy of your passport photo page
At least five blank pages in your passport
Clean criminal background check (no older than six months)
TESOL / TEFL certificate if you have one
